After I determined the Winegard HD to be the best antenna option based on my location re the local broadcast tower, I found Solid Signal had the best prices on the net. Winegard products are hard to find in Canada, and if you do find what you're looking for, the markup is ridiculously high.
I was excited to find out they shipped to Canada, that they use FedEx and not UPS , and that the few extra steps that need to be made to complete an order to Canada is no bother at all. Well, the antenna working so well had a hand to play in me ordering another one less than two weeks later. My neighbor saw how good the signal was using this antenna, and in a fit of jealousy, demand I order one for her but in a nice way.
So I placed a second order with Solid Signal, this time communicating and accepting the shipping quote with Erica by email, all this on Monday the 29th, and the antenna was at my door by Wednesday the 31st!
