How many bosses does naxxramas have

Make sure to tank him at the bottom of the ramp, possibly behind a wall, to make it easy for your Mana users to break line of sight whenever this shout is incoming. Split your raid evenly into two groups, with ranged on the left living side and melee on the right undead side. The idea is to have stronger DPS on the undead side, as any adds killed in the living side are transformed into adds for the undead side to deal with, which are also generally more dangerous.

Kill riders first, then death knights and lastly trainees on the living side, and trainees, then riders, then death knights and finally horses on the undead side. This is where we get to the ultimate bosses of WoW Classic. We strongly recommend checking the video for the details. You will need to have your players rotate on each horseman based on their debuffs of that horseman, in order to avoid getting more than 3 of a particular debuff. Healers have somewhat of a special rotation, as they will rotate one by one on every mark before starting to rotate on 3 like the rest of the group, in order to ensure that there is always good healer coverage on each boss, rather than having periods without anyone healing due to movement.

In order to achieve this, have one healer on each starting side rotate to the next boss, clockwise, on the first mark. A different healer in each group should move on the second mark, and the third healer moves on the third mark. After this first rotation, you move clockwise whenever you have 3 marks, ensuring optimal uptime. Slow and steady is the way to go in this encounter, good luck! The Frostwyrm Lair is the final destination of Naxxramas and houses only two bosses.

Unfortunately, these are also by far the hardest bosses in the raid, and WoW Classic as a whole, and can be a big roadblock. Once you have cleared this place, it is time to get ready for Burning Crusade icecream flavor, because Vanilla is done and dusted!

Sapphiron is a very simple boss mechanically, but also the toughest healing check in WoW Classic. The main challenge of the fight will come from his permanent frost aura, which constantly damages the whole raid for significant frost damage. He also deals high melee damage to the tank, applies life-draining debuffs which should be dispelled instantly, and casts a Blizzard effect inside his room, which slowly moves around the room, slowing and damaging everyone caught within.

Ultimately, the biggest problem is that Sapphiron is also all but impossible to zerg down, as he will spend significant time in the air, reducing melee uptime. Spread out as soon as he starts going up , as he will proceed to freeze five players, dealing area of effect damage around them in the process.

The players who are not frozen need to hide behind a frozen person's iceblock, in order to line of sight the frost breath explosion that slowly drops to the middle of the room after all freezes go off, with any failure to do so being punished by death. There are DPS and healing checks, multiple one-shot mechanics to avoid, the need to quickly crowd control both humanoids and undead, an interrupt rotation to handle and three long phases to deal with.

In the first phase , you will be surrounded by adds. Wait for them to come to you, as attacking them before they start moving towards you is likely to cause your group to get overwhelmed needlessly. Have your tanks and melee deal with the Abominations, minding their healing reduction debuff, and your ranged deal with the Skeletons and Banshees, both of which will cause large amounts of area of effect damage on the raid if they get close enough.

Once you kill enough of them, most of the remaining enemies will despawn, which indicates the second phase is about to start. Have your ranged and healer players immediately spread around the room, as Kel'Thuzad might start using his deadly area of effect abilities as soon as he becomes active. You will need to deal with multiple abilities that can come at any point with a short interval between each of them at this point:.

Extra adds will start spawning from the portals around the room until 5 are present. You can Shackle Undead up to 3 of them before Kel'Thuzad breaks all the shackles instantly, which you decidedly should.

They also have a ton of health, so for the most part just off-tank or kite them while burning down Kel'Thuzad with all cooldowns. This phase can easily go out of control, as all of phase 2 abilities will still be active alongside the adds, so do your best to keep things under control for as long as it takes to finally take down the final boss of WoW Classic.

An entry-level quarter, this is usually the first one targeted by guilds to gear up their players. The trash clear to Anub'Rekhan is short, with the clears to Grand Widow Faerlina and Maexxna being progressively longer.

Maexxna : A colossal highly poisonous Spider. Arachnid quarter. The Plague Quarter A wing of strange fungus, ghouls, gargoyles, maggots and other plagued monstrosities. This wing has three bosses and is only very slightly more difficult than the Arachnid Quarter, with Noth the Plaguebringer being arguably the easiest boss in the instance.

The trash clear to Noth the Plaguebringer and Heigan the Unclean is of medium length with Loatheb having a short gauntlet of quickly respawning maggots and eye stalks rather than a trash clear. Bosses Noth the Plaguebringer : A Necromancer specialized in curses and summoning. Heigan the Unclean : A Necromancer specialized in diseases and dancing.

Loatheb : A giant Fungal Monster. Plague quarter. This wing also has three bosses and requires slightly more coordination than the Arachnid or Plague wings, but has no higher gear requirements. The trash clear to Instructor Razuvious is the longest in the instance, with considerable trash clears for Gothik the Harvester and The Four Horsemen.

Military quarter. The Construct Quarter A wing of toxic slime filled with abominations and their creators. Previously known as the Abomination wing in level 60 Naxxramas.

This quarter contains four bosses and requires slightly higher gear and coordination than the first three wings. It is recommended new groups tackle this quarter last. Patchwerk is a considerable healer test on Heroic difficulty and Thaddius is a considerable DPS check on Heroic difficulty. The trash clear to Patchwerk is long but Grobbulus and Thaddius have short clears. Gluth has no trash whatsoever. There is no actual 'exit' that will teleport you back outside to the ground.

Comment by Thottbot Alright , i saw alot of post regarding questions about naxxramas. I will try and explain as much as possible in this post. Im pretty sure you dont need any requirements to pick up this quest.

The second best choice to entering Naxxramas is being revered. My guild is currently doing Naxxramas and most of us got attuned at Revered. The quest giver for the naxx attunement quest is at the lights hope chappel as i explained earlier. I dont remember the name of the npc , but its a girl sitting on the right side of the table. The name of the quest is "The Dread Citadel". You can also get attuned at Honored reputation with the "Argent Dawn", however this is the option that will cost you the most.

Once you complete this quest you may enter Naxx wich is kinda located at the left of eastwall gate. A previous user posted a pic of where Naxx is located. This quest is a prerequisit to anyone who wishes to get hold of T3 set items. I also heard completing this quest will make you eligible to other naxx regarding quests.

The npc giving this quest is a women palladin sitting on the same table as the npc who gives the quest for naxx attunement. The npc looks like a palladin with t2 set. This quest will ask you to go kill trash mobs in Naxxramas.

Most of wich are easily accessible with almost any guild that has some skill. Once this quest is complete. An Npc will give out quests to get T3. Unlike t1 and t2, t3 is harder to get. To get T3 you have to kill bosses in Naxx wich will drop epic pieces such as desecrated pauldrons and e. Once you grab hold of one of these desecrated pieces, you bring them to the NPC wich will probably be in Light hope chapel and he will craft the T3 piece with the desecrated item you have brought him.

However he will also ask you for other mats so he can craft the t3 set pieces. He will ask for mats such as Plate metal scraps and leather scraps and others. All of wich are droped from mobs located inside Naxxramas. You get a minimum of 1 these per pulls , almost every pulls drop some of these scraps. These scraps are blue colored. Spider , Deathknight , Plague , abomination wing.

At my knowledge there is 3 boss in each wing and 2 others in the end being a frost wyrm boss and Kel thuzad. My guild was able to go through the deathknight wing easily the first time we went to Naxxramas. We cleared everything from the begining of the deathknight wing to the 1st boss of that wing : instructor raszuvias.

The boss however was not as easy as the mobs. He was actualy pretty difficult. All i can say for this fight is , your priests better be good at tanking :D. In the first area of the deathknight wing lies an npc called Omarion. He will teach a tailor , leatherworker or blacksmith how to make 2 pieces of epic frost resis gear if you are revered with argent dawn.

If you are exalted he will teach you how to make a 3rd piece of epic frost resist gear wich is the chestpiece. Some of the mobs from Naxxramas give argent dawn reputation , i know the deahtknights on the steeds gave about 50 each , not quite sure on the other wings though. I have been told the abomination wing is the hardest wing. From my experience , it was a pretty hard first pull. The first pull in abomination wing pulls 4 abominations at once. These abominations stun the tank and go for another target.

The solution my guild has picked up for the first problem , the one i mentioned a few seconds ago , the one about abominations stunning and going to another target is , we gave our tanks free action potions wich made us able to tank these guys without getting stunned. From what i red , to obtain this staff you must go through a very very long process.

I dont think anyone will get this staff for a very long time. Once you gain all 40 of these pieces, you can make the frame of atiesh, wich will begin a quest. The top piece can be gotten from Kel thuzad, however im not sure if you need to have this quest to be able to grab the top piece from Kel thuzad. And the bottom piece is with Brann Bronzebeard who was last seen in silithus. My guess is you probably gonna need to be able to clear AQ40 fully to be able to get bottom piece.

Now in the plague wing there is one type of mob , the gargoyles. These guys do a poison debuff that stacks , the more of these debuffs you got the more nature damage you take every few seconds. Well thats pretty much all i know about naxx , i hope i answered some of your questions.

Feel free to correct me on any mistakes i may have made in this post. Thank you and have a nice day. Comment by Thottbot arthas freed the lich king then put on his helm then infused himself with the lich and is now the lich king :P. Comment by Thottbot Arthas being a level 90 or raid group actually makes sense, because arthas while not being so powerful defeated illidan which currently is thrice as tough as kel'thuzad who no one ever downed him yet At that time, he wasnt even the lich king yet.

So basically, arthas is the strongest villain EVER in world of warcraft. I read that yes, it might take up to 5 years. But there will be smaller expansions with the patches for BC, but the major ones could increase the level cap by 20 levels. So you could go from 70 to There are 4 continets yet to show up on the face of azeroth ok one isnt really a continent, but a big country. In the collector's edition making off dvd you can see the map on a whiteboard.

Northrend - Arthas' kingdom. AND, there is the sunken continent of the Nagas. They said it will likely be an instance. Where queen Azshara lives. So it isnt really a problem waiting 5 years. Comment by Thottbot just in case some of you havent heard. Comment by Thottbot Ive been searching my server for a naxx running guild for a few months now. Just curious, does anyone ever run naxx anymore? How big of a group of BC players does it take?

How does raid looting work; is it the same as normal group looting? Are the desecrated pieces universal for all T3 Gear, or is there a Cloth piece , a leather piece , a mail piece Does everyone get a peice with each boss or is there just one player who loots it?

Frost resistance gear has proven to be rather scarce thus far, luckily, the Argent Dawn has made available several armor patterns that provide considerable frost resistance and bosses in Naxxramas drop very high quality epic frost resistance pieces. Shadow is the third major resistance required. Death Knights and Necromancers use powerful shadow magic, and Kel'Thuzad has a few shadow spells as well. The final boss in the Plague wing, Loatheb original , uses shadow based damage also.

Shadow resist gear can be found scattered throughout various instances, so this shouldn't be a problem. For more details, see Naxxramas original loot. Post away! Log in , it's free! An alternative version of this wiki is now operational and ready for use. WoWWiki Explore. WoW info.
